Ross Blocher and Carrie Poppy are the co-hosts of Oh No, Ross and Carrie!, an investigative podcast produced by the Maximum Fun network. The hosts met through the Center for Inquiry West in Los Angeles. Ross Blocher spent time with the Independent Investigations Group, a scientific organisation that investigates paranormal claims. Carrie Poppy earned a master's degree in investigative journalism from the University of Southern California in 2015, and her professional background in investigative reporting shapes the show's rigorous documentation of what actually happens during these investigations. Their notable investigations include a multi-episode series on the Church of Scientology, beginning in February 2016, as well as explorations of Mormonism, dowsing, Reiki, and numerous alternative medicine modalities.

The podcast ran on Maximum Fun from 2011 until October 2024, when the hosts announced the show was ending for the foreseeable future. Over its thirteen-year run, it became one of the most respected investigative skepticism podcasts in the English language. The show's combination of genuine first-hand investigation, thorough research, and willingness to approach subjects with openness before rendering judgment modelled an investigative ethic that complemented rather than replaced traditional scientific skepticism.
